Things that aren't doing the thing
Or: Read This turns one.
The email was one sentence long, contained one link, and went to just one subscriber.
Today, I'm resending that same link because, when I first read it, it was what finally motivated me to hit publish on that first email.
One year later, I'm not convinced that Read This is "doing the thing." Or, at least, doing it in the way I want it to.
Which is all to say: expect some changes to the formula in 2025.
